Does anybody know how to setup an announcement mailbox. I want to have a mailbox to record a greeting but don't want people to leave a voicemail.

If I understand you correctly, you are looking for a listen only mailbox. A listen only will allow callers to hear the Greeting or announcement but not leave any messages.

If thisis what you are looking for you need to create a Type 1-Listen Only box.

Within the mailbox, we normally set *Key Definition: 1-Ignore
Caller Prompting: 2- Limited/None
Playback Controls: Y
And pretty much leave the rest default.

You will probably also want to modify a COS that is used just for these listen only boxes. You don't really need one, but it is a good housekeeping thing. The COS settings are default for the most part.
Some setings in ours are
Personal Greeting: 1-One Greeting
Max Greeting Length: 0:05:00
Max Message Length: 0:05:00
Max Messages: 1
