Reduce time to a call

O.K.,
I've done analog DID's on the Legend a bunch of times.
In the end ,whether or not you're stripping or adding digits
to the digits sent by the CO, you've got to match the extension
number to make that phone ring. I.E. someone calls 540-0765
the CO sends us 765 and we have an extension 765. Majically
the phone rings. O.K. fine. Now I have this networking install
Over PRI, there is a Residential number that is to ring a calling
group.A Commercial number that is to ring another calling
group and an Admin number that should ring to a third
calling group. These are not DID's and are not tied to a
particular phone. Because of the PRI , I cannot program them
to ring by refering to a line number ( I don't think ). So how do
I get a general phone number coming in over a PRI to ring
somewhere (i'll take anywhere). :hideing:

Reactivate ext. on Option 11?

JUST A SHOT. IF THE NETWORK PROVIDER IS SENDING STEERING INFORMATION, YOU MUST OF COURSE ROUTE THE CALL BASED ON THAT INFORMATION. THERE IS ALSO THE POSSIBILITY THAT THE NETWORK PROVIDER IS SENDING NO INFORMATION. THERE ARE PRI CALL ROUTING INSTRUCTIONS FOR "NO SERVICE."
THAT MAY BE WHERE YOU NEED TO VISIT.

Lost Patches

AFTER THINKING ABOUT THIS PROBLEM, I BELIEVE THAT IT IS MORE LIKELY THAT THE C.O. IS SENDING STEERING INFORMATION FOR THOSE TWO TRUNKS THAT SIMPLY DON'T APPEAR IN YOUR DIAL PLAN OR UNIVERSAL/UNIFORM DIAL PLAN
AND ARE GETTING THE UNIDENTIFIED CALL TREATMENT IN THE LEGEND'S PROGRAM.
