Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Creating Access Codes I’m trying to help a customer that has a Merlin Legend R7.0 with Merlin Messaging R1.0. They want the voice mail system to answer the calls both day and night. I had the customer put the system in Night Service Mode, but then it only plays the Night Greeting in the AA. How can I make it play the Day Greeting during the Day and the Night Greeting during the night but still have the AA answer 24 hours a day? Also, when the caller transfers to the operator extension (533) it rings forever and the voice mailbox never picks up. I tried creating a mailbox for 533, but it never picks up. How can I make it ring the operator extension and then go to the voice mail box after a set number of rings? | ||||||||

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | DEFINITY Certified Technician You might be able to login to VM admin and set it not to follow the phone system but to follow the time schedule. You'll have to leave the night service button on all the time. You'll have to set the time schedule up for each day of the week. You'll have to set the operator in the VM as the main console (or who ever you want), it has to be a actual phone and not a fattom phone. Then in the phone system you have to add this extension to Cover Group 30 so it will go to voice mail. :casstet: | ||||||||
