Rep Power: 7 ![]() | I have an Option 11c site that is a bank. On their telephone banking I am providing them 6 ext's from the OP11. The prob is that the tel banking server will not release the lines until the server times out waiting for digits. The server uses dialogic boards, and we have run the tone wizard for it to learn the OP11 tones. It will not recognize silence as a disconnect tone, so I set LDTA (Line Disconnect Tone Allowed) in cls. The OP11 would then send dtone for 16 seconds when an outside caller hung up. The problem then with the tone wizard was that it would see the LDTA tone the same as dial tone (which it is). Is there any way to get disconnect sup on the Op 11 from an analog port? I have heard that the only way to get it is to use an OPX card. I also notice in ftr's in LD10 that there is a setting called ISP. (Enable hook flash disconnect supervision with flash timer) I haven't tried this, how does it work???????? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Norstar MICS - Adding DTI-T1 and DTI PRI Try playing with the ISP and OSP parameters of the analog ports. They have default values of (30) and (75), but you can adjust them as necessary. I had to use them when getting ready to transition for cutover and had to connect the old Opt11 to the new Opt11 for folks to initialize their new mailboxes. The best I could get was that the ports on disconnect would put out dial tone for a few(?) seconds, but then the ports DID disconnect and become available again.

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | We have set the ISP in FTR to 30, 45, and default of 75 all NG. Nortel was in the switch and making these changes remotely. I have also ran the tone wizard on the server another 5 or so times. Nortel is now taking this to 2nd level, and looking at LD 56 (Tones and Cadences). If anyone has anything to add feel free to jump in at any time. With as many Meridians as there are in service, I can't imagine that this has not come up in the past.

Location: Canada Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Bad Halloween Costume The OSP and ISP settings will have no affect unless used with the NT1R20AB OPS card. The only disconnect supervision you can get on a regular analog card is the dialtone (LDTA). From what you say, the banking server recognizes dialtone. So it just needs to take the appropriate action when it hears dialtone during an active session, i.e. hang up. Doesn't sound like a Nortel issue. Steamer

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Steamer, thanks, that is the part number I'm looking for. I maintain all along that this is not a Nortel issue. The d__n server sees the disc dt as dt and won't pass the tone wizard. It also seems very funny to me that the engineer I'm working with at Nortel doesn't know this. GO FIGURE!!!!!

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Just freezer her Well here's the latest. I had a call from the engineer after posting the part # for the OSP card in the case notes on the Nortel website. The engineer said he would check to see if this could possibly fix the trouble. The root of the problem here is that the engineer is Indian, (another case of Nortel's outsourcing) and I have a very hard time understanding him. I have nothing against him at all, but it sure would be nice not only to be able to understand him, but if his technical knowledge was up to par. I know, I know, RANT, RANT, RANT. Gee, I thought that would make me feel better about this.
