I try to create a piplot hung group using LD 57 and receive this error message:

SCH8894 FNP package is not equipped.

How do i resolve this issue? My system has FNP package 160 included.

I just curious...I'm trying to test centralized messaging using Qsig between avaya and nortel. Avaya Modular Messaging resides on Avaya Communication Manager using Qsig. Avaya and Nortel Meridian connect via a T-1 QSIG. I want users on Nortel to have call coverage to the Avaya Modular Messaging. Basically, when incoming call to a user on Nortel Meridian, the user does not answer call, the call then coverage to the Avaya Modular Messaging server that resides on the Avaya Commmunication Manager. Avaya Modular Messaging then send a qsig MWI to the Nortel PBX to light up the messaging waiting light on the nortel user's phone. Do i need PLDN package to do this. I don't have experience with nortel so i don't know how to create call coverage on nortel pbx. Plus, when enable MWI on the station, it require a pilot DN number. Please help.

Best advise I think is for you to read the NTP's. There will be a lot of "suck it and see" testing to get this sort of programming up and running.

http://support.nortelnetworks.com is the portal into Nortel's technical support (including NTP documentation). You will need to register to access the NTPs but that registration is free.

Once you have registered and have access, click on the "Finder" link under "Find Products".

For Option 11C documents up to 25.40 as an example, in box 1 choose "Meridian". In box 2 choose "Meridian 1 Option 11C". In box 3 choose "Documentation" and click on "Go"

For the Sucession 3.0 (or later) versions, choose "Succession Enterprise", then "Communication Server 1000M Cabinet/Chassis", then "Documentation" and "Go".
