Need help with configuring Nortel.

Hi,

I'm new to Nortel Meridian. Can some one provide me the step to remove the T-1 PRI configuration. Currently, there is one T1 pri configured in my Meridian 11C. I would like to remove all the configuration associated with this T1 and start with new configuration. You can also reach me on AOL IM with my screenname "minhkhoa76".

thanks,

Khoa

There really is more to this than it seems. You need to remove the T-1/PRI and the D-channel but also any reference in your RLI 's. Depending on how it is programmed you could be ok with the second route list entry if programmed. Thats just me though, I want my switches running clean.

redial from attendant console 2250

Wouldn't it be more like.....

LD 14 Out Trunks
LD 16 Out Route
LD 17 Out DCH
LD 17 Out CEQU

Other things to consider .....

NARS / BARS
Clock Controller Tracking on now non-existant span.

But then hey.... what do I know.

What he said...
Prior to doing the above I would print all your routes lists and fine where this pri is being used.
I would then print the trunk members of the routes
then proceed to removal.
Never remove anything without printing it first. This is a good practice to keep in case something was removed that should not have been.
