Our company decided to use name dialing but only for certain people. There are about 300 mailboxes but only 100 will be allowed to be accessed through the name dialing menu. Right now everyone is defaulted to YES, use name dialing.

What is the best, easiest way to do this? If I have to go through all 200 mail boxes and change it to NO on this slow system, I might jump off a bridge. Please tell me there is an easier way.

Before you jump, think of Procomm script. the following one works for the mailbox 1146 and 1110, with a VT102 as terminal, so it won't work for yours MMail perhaps.
Use mailing function in word with an excel database to add all your mailbox. By experience, add no more than 50 mailbox in a row.

In fact, it will take you as much time as if you do it via CLI, but you'll learn something :wink:

Sorry to say but you need to find a very low bridge. This will do less damage. Maybe they have one in your town, like at a goofy golf place. Hey it's a bridge right? :wink:

if you do have to do it manually at least make sure you are talking at 9600 the MM top spead. It will speed things up alot.

As I was deciding whether to jump off a bridge or fight with a procomm script, I was given an intern for this task. I threatened him with his life to treat the system kindly and change them all. He did wonderfully! I might keep him around.
