Those lifters come with a plastic extension that slides over the top of the lifter arm. This plastic will extend the lifter to the side far enough to go under and lift the handset.
Does it automatically come with the extension or can you buy them seperate? I have the lifter, just not the extension.

Reguarding the lifter and fit: I have used them in our remote sites, but it doesn't fit snug, I have parts exposed as it doesn't mount flush against the side. Anyone have any other ideas?

the extender comes in the box with the lifter. I don't know if you can buy them seperate. You could just find a box with a new lifter in it and take the extender piece out.

Isn't there a CLS feature that would let us answer directly with the CS50? I have a few users with M2216's and CS50's who answer without touching the phone. It's just like connecting your headset to the jack, and the phone recognizes it.

Might be a 2216-only feature. I'd have to try it on a M3905 (man I hate 'em)
