Location: Philadelphia Rep Power: 6 ![]() | here's my data blocks This could be one of two problems: 1. The IPC QSIG link is an E1. If you have a T1 on the Nortel side, you need to make sure you have a T1 to E1 converter. This will convert from A law to Mu law. 2. The levels on the IPC can be too high. On the IPC side the QSIG E1 is assigned a wire group which contains all parameters for the link. When setting up a new link, IPC recommends making some changes to the wire group for operation with Nortel. You should be able to get these changes from IPC. In addition to these changes, one of the IPC engineers recommended making some changes to the output levels. He said the QSIG volume can sometimes be too "hot" | ||||||||
