| Old Nortel/Goldstar PBX (GSX 408) Are righty all you Console fanatics, you BUG err fans... Punched down the console according to what's programmed...plugged 'er in...and WHAMO.. Not a thing...Consoles lite up like an Xmas tree...and I get this err constantly. BUG6244 BUG6244 : 44 12 0 0 2 BUG6244 + 1066E100 1057839E 10E49430 10E49144 10E4908E BUG6244 + 10E489C2 10E43AC8 According to my book BUG6244 means this: BUG6244 SETCUSTPTRS failed. Customer nuber and terminal are printed. Customer number is from the protected line block unless the terminal is a DTR, which takes it from it's active call register Action: Print TN block (except DTR) and reconfingure if customer number is not correct. OK...so what does that mean in English? I wouldn't be in such a rush, but until I get this console working, I can't even START making anyting else work (no console, not main number) HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :casstet: :casstet: :casstet: :casstet: :casstet: :casstet: :casstet: | ||||||||

| Console HELL Shouldn't be multi customers (so 0 would be the cust number) 2550 console (replacing one that needs to go back with the old switch, same model) No indications on the console...ALL the keys are lit up, and it's showing Night mode...won't change out of that status. | ||||||||

| Console HELL More to the puzzle (and maybe this will help) On a lark I decided to swap out the pairs on the MDF.. NOW...Keep in mind 12 0 0 2, 12 0 0 3 and 12 0 0 4 are the PWR for the console... Anyway...when I swapped 12 2 with 12 3 the Errs switch from 12 2 to 12 3 (same err, different tn) Ideas? | ||||||||

Location: Carthage, Mo. Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Recroding console activity TP, just off the top of my head, assuming you have a full 25 pr. going to the console 12-0 should be your w/bl pair, 12-1 the w/or(assumption). The tips of 12-2 and 12-3 should be bridged together at the switch end and punched to the red/orange, and red/green wires. the rings of 12-2 and 12-3 should be bridged at the switch end and punched to the orange/red and green/red wires. TN 12-4 should go to the w/sl pair. This is from memory, but it should get you there. Jim

Location: NORTEL - NJ Rep Power: 6 ![]() | i need Meridian PBX help The problem here is that the switch sees the Customer as Customer 44. You may have some software corruption. Print out the information and scan carefully for any other corruption. If safe, and you can do it in split mode, out and rebuild.
