Putting Politics (and Politicians) in Perspective

A receptionist here has a 3904 with 8 did's on it along with 3 programmed keys. When she goes to lunch she wants to forward her phone to a receptionist that will answer all of her calls for her. At this time, when she does the call forward button and forwards her phone, ONLY her number is forwarded. All the other numbers continue as normal. I have a 3903 and a 3904 and one analog on my desk. If I forward the 3903 to the 3904 , ALL the numbers are forwarded, not just the one number. Same is true if I forward the 3904 to the 3903, the entire phone is forwarded, not just the one number. What am I missing? I outed her entire phone and rebuilt. Same problem. I am not seeing the difference between her phone and the ones I have on my desk? Anybody have any ideas? Thanks in advance!!

According to the NTP Feature Guide, Only the Primary DN or any Single-apperance DN on the phone ae forwarded.

Do the DN's on her phone have appear on another set?

Rust...your test worked because (I assume) "all the numbers" on your phone are specific to YOUR phone....
As was mentioned, check the Marp and for mulitple appearances of those numbers.
that may solve your issue....

And, Tony, YES, you are correct about that, which is a reason the marp would come into play...Marp essentially would tell that phone "These ARE the lines belonging to this phone"
The primary (Key 0) would, however, be the ONLY one that would not ring the set before forwarding, due to what you posted/

Nortellian: The numbers are marped now, weren't before. But, that did not cure the problem.

tbraddock : The only numbers that will be forwarded on her phone are numbers that do not appear anywhere else?? ewwwwwww All of the numbers appear somewhere else except HER number!

Ok, how about one of the "famous work-arounds"?? The phone in question has 3 of the big bosses numbers on it. When this receptionist goes to lunch she wants to be able to forward ALL of the numbers to the second receptionist, not just her number. She has 1616 and 2618 as her number. Those numbers are getting forwarded ok. 1699, 2699, 1677, 2677, 2600,1600 don't get forwarded. Any ideas??

Best to add the same DN's to the Second Receptionist phone with delayed ring option.
Be careful changing the MARP. The receptionist phone will be in control of the forwarding now.
MARP will only change forwarding on no answer conditions and has nothing to do with call forward.

BTW, I just love your pic.
Can I come hang out with you.

It's a Cali thing and I hated them...

Thank ALL of you for your replys! Since I can't use the forward button....

On the analog phones here I can do a #1 to forward a phone to another number. Is there anyway to enable this feature on a 3903?

Call Forward requires a CFW Button to be programmed on the set. Can't use flexible feature codes.
