I have heard QSIG is the cleanest way to built PRI's to a Call Manager, does anyone have a config of a DCH and a RDB that is currently working using QSIG? I have tried this a couple of times to no avail. Dont even see the call when I look at D channel messaging. These Call Managers are going to kill me, why cant people stick with one product on their networks.

Ties to Cisco using QSIG

Hello Board and Hi Mark, sounds like we are working on the same string just different cans. I have a several CMs hooked to several different PBX's however I have had to "make it work" with the Nortels. I currently front end my CM's with software to replicate a Nortel and have the nortel set up the DCH for SL1, I hope I am wrong but qsig seems to work everywere except on the Nortels

QSIG is a Package that must be purchased unless you at succession 3. We origionally purchased it for intergration to a third party product. It works fine but I would be you do not have the package.

This is not sounding good, Yes I am at 3.0 for 6 months now, IP peer networking works great however this QSIG seems to be a little oversold. I am still looking for a working connection to cisco. Everywere I look all I see is D100 which we all know is a work around. I am wondering if maybe make the CM a H323 endpoint and try H323 trunking? Anybody.....Somebody besides datagirl

Q.Sig works just fine to the CM. ISGF Integer based RCAP settings, make sure you sort out who's going to be the NET side of the DCH and you are ready to go. If this wont come up, then they need to tweak the config on the CM side.

Most of the 'failures' can be credited to dialplan issues, Channel or Timeslot configs not matching, the wrong version of code on the CM to properly support Q.Sig, or patches missing on the Nortel side.
