I would like to restrict a group of DID's from receiving incomming calls. The managers do not want to change the numbers. Still need to be able to dial out of the hospital.

Hos -

I usually IDC DID's to my Symposium Server with a Ran that states "This number isn't accepting calls at this time, please hang up and dial xxx-xxx-xxxx).

If you don't have symposium - you can IDC them to a 'greeting' only mailbox that states the above and disconnects.

Probably Simple (Change the Set ID number)

I built IDC Tables before but it's been awhile. Can you assist me.

Thanks

Sure -

1. Build a greet only mailbox and record a greeting..

2. Create an extension the forwards to that mailbox. (via phantom to VM or CFW to VM)

3. In ld 49:
REQ Chg
TYPE IDC
Cust 0
DCNO 1
IDGT xxxx (Where x = the DID to convert)
XXXX yyyy (Where y = the DN for the greeting.)
IDGT xxxx ---> continue for all remaining DID's

To remove an IDC - do the same as above, but replace yyyy with one X and press return....
