Hey all,

We have an LDN that I need to change so that our switchboard goes to our Cisco Call Manager. I have to free up the DN that is tied to that LDN. I want to verify with you if I am going about this right. Please see my process below.

Step 1 print out the LDN_DATA in LD 21
Step 2 do a change on the LDN_DATA in LD15
Step 3 Go to the LDN entry and change the DN that it currently is

My questions are 1. Is this relatively right and 2. can I just delete the LDN entry with a NUL in the LDN0 field. If you have questions as to my sad explanation, let me know. Thanks.

Changing LDN

You can NOT nul the LDN entry.

This entry also effects the amount of digits that the switch will be looking for on your DID's.

The entry does not even need to be a valid extension but does need to be filled in.

Have another drink Mr. Ed

When you say valid extension, it can be an internal extension? Or does it have to be an actual DID?

Cool, that makes my job easier. I thought I could do that but I wanted to verify. Thanks. Jack call me sometime if you get a chance.
