We have 2 Option 11s in remote locations.

On both 11's incoming acd calls can be observed as being in the queue but do not get the message that all agents are busy. The call continues to ring.

FROA=yes
FRRT=42
SRRT=(blank)
NRRT=(blank)

One site has 3 members in route 42 while the other site has 6 members in route 42.

Would this have anything to do with not having SRRT in our ACD programming?

What happens to a call when all members are busy?

Thanks,
Darlene

Welcome to the board....

If an acd call encounters a Ran that is in use - the caller will continue to hear ringing until that Ran becomes available.

If the Ran isn't working (out of service) the caller will continue to hear ringing and your switch will output err220.

So - it looks like you're getting more calls that the Ran trunks can handle. Do the callers eventually get to an agent??? Are all the trunks working???

As a general rule - you should keep FROA Recordings as short as possible.

RE:

In LD 36, you can test the RAN trunks by the command RAN (cust #) (route #) ie: RAN 0 42

Do any of the callers ever hear the recording?

What type of trunks are the ACD calls coming in on?

What is the FRT set for in the ACD data block?
