Is there a way to send a message to another TTY?
The DMS's used to be able to do this.
I know I can do a FORCE. I like that one.

look in the beginning of your input output guide for a section titled overlay loader and multi user login. In this section it explains how to send as well as other commands. DMS 250's and 300's rule.

Check which port the person is on.. then

SEND 14 (if tty 14 is the active one you want to send to)

at the SEND MSG:

prompt, you type in the message and hit enter...

so who.. and then send

OVL000
> SEND 14
SEND MSG: hello

User recieves:

15:**HELLO

15 being my tty port..

I need a companion system!

>send 14

SEND MSG: INI000 0005 00 00 00 0H 1B 0000

And TTY 14 sees:

15:** INI000 0005 00 00 00 0H 1B 0000

That's always a lot of fun with the new guy sitting on TTY 14

Want to install Symposium 5.0 on a blade server

One I found out was via PDT there is a way to write to the LCD display on the Cores.

Always good to post "What the ..... are you looking at!?" when a new guy is trying to read the diag codes.
