Norstar NAM4 desktop messaging issue
here is one my itg trunk is working fine with voice but faxing doesnt pass through the fax answers but doest send the info any ideas thx john

I am not too familiar ( yet ) with the ITG poducts, but I have had exposure to other IP related products - Remote Office 9150 and Cisco Call Manager, and both have issues when it comes to seperating out fax's over your WAN span. Is there a location to check the codecs that you are using for sending out across the line? Generally you will want to compress your voice to G.729 for 8k channel usage, but a fax has to go out G.711 for full 64k access. Maybe this is a path you can check out.

SCSI Tape Drive for MM11 on option 11
there is info in the ntp on which codecs support faxing. if my memory serves me right it is g729ab and g711. anso it watters what type of fax it is i think it only supports type 2
