Several of the people here want the "message waiting light" instead of the "stutter-tone". I went looking for this item and found two different methods this is done.
One: is where the pbx uses 90v to 140v to excite a neon bulb.
two: FSK

Anybody know which method a 61c uses? Thanks!!

The Analog/MW Line cards use the voltage method. To activate this program:

CLS MWA LPA

Message waiting Allow
Lamp Allow

If you want stutter tone you use LPD (Lamp deny) you cannot have both.

==============================================

FSK (Frequency Shift Key) modem signalling is what CLASS uses to deliver CPND to analog sets equiped for CLASS. MWI via FSK is supported on CLASS TN's.

See CLASS in the Features and Services guide for the proper configuration of CLASS sets. Of course to use FSK, you need CLASS ISM's and CLASS modem cards in your switch.
