We recently move a PBX from one building to another. in the process we added another column to the 81. Two more loops ( Shelf 0 and 1) IPE shelf 3 ( the top shelf in the new column) was having problems.

PROBLEM : In certain card slots where we had 500 cards we would get a constant clicking...if we rolled the PWR CARD, Ring Generator, Or the Controller ( one at a time or all three) the problem would persist. I'm starting to think it could be a power harness issue but can not find the voltages i should be getting from the harness..

If you have any ideas on the problem or could provide the power readings on the Power Harness let me know.

By any chance are the cards NT8D09 (possibly BA vintage) Rlse 5? If so, then it's most likely bad line cards as per Nortel. There are a few posts about that specific issue on the site. If you disable, reseat, and re-enable the cards does the problem go away?

Just a thought.
