Hello,

My boss wants us to forward all calls to our main DN (500) to another number offiste for an afternoon while the office will be closed. Anyone know how to do that? Is it possible? We want to forward all calls coming in to our divisional office (80 miles away). Thanks!!!
I can't determine if I need to do this through MeridianMail or through basic programming of the Option11.

If 500 is an acd dn then chg the NCFW in LD 23 to the number of the offsite location.

Just to avoid problems I would print the current configuration of the ACD first.

LD 23
Prt
ACD
500 for the ACOD when prompted

Then do
chg
acd
500 for the ACOD when prompted
Press enter until you get to NCFW... I think it is 11 prompts down
Enter your Access code (ie 9 for ouside line) then the number
Enter through the remaing prompts and you will return to REQ.

Thanks, Jack

When I enter the number for the NCFW I am getting a fast busy. Are there maybe some restrictions put on regarding call forwarding offiste? This is a long distance number I am trying to forward all calls to.

thank you,
AT

Some Crazy stories

I thought that 500 was the ACOD you needed to change. I am confused about the 837

No, 8 is our access code, then I meant + 3 for the area code + 7 for the number.

Is the destination LD? If yes you'll need 8+1+ NPA+number.

If not try entering the ACOD of the route that you want to go out on, + NPA + Number.

If neither of those work post back and we'll try a few other things.

OK, I tried also just to put an local number (9 + local number) and this also gave me a fast busy. I can forward it to another extension with no problem. It's just getting out that I am having problems with.

thanks!
