NPNC Updated 7/25

I have two different places to sit in my area work. I use one DN (ex. 3400) both sides and same TN. Can I ring the other SET while I am at one of the SETs?
(more explanation: A and B sides, both of them are same DN [Ex.3400], I would like to make a call to one of them by using the other one).
Can I? Any help is highly appreciated.

Hi MercuryStorm.
Your question is what I need, because I have been thinking if my poor english can be understood by people like you or not. So, I just got my garbage english is what you couldnt understand me. ANYWAY;
I mean, same PBX, same building, same TN, same DN, but different floor. (paralleled by cable). I have one office at first floor Ex.3400 at the same time I have another office at forth floor Ex.3400. If some one call Ex. 3400 both phones ring.
My point; I am at first floor, using my Ex.3400, can I make ring the other SET at my office of the forth floor or make both sets ring same time without receiving a call from other DNs/person?
What do I need to do? I use Option 11c - 25.40B.
Is this enought to you to undestand me?
Thanks.
Hassan

You can consider using digital phone, using MCR feature .

That means for both phones of DN 3400, instead of using SCR 3400, you use MCR 3400.

On one of the sets, if you use DN 3400 key todial 3400, the other phoneset will ring at Dn 3400 ket.

Give it a try and see if that what you have been trying to achieve......

When you say parell by cable. I assume you mean an analog that is chained. If that is the case the answer is no. You could go digital and give the phones a common number and a unique number then they could call on the unique number.

Thanks to ALL.
I've just undestood what I was looking for is what an option 11c does not support. Therefore I have swallowed my attepmt and sent back to the stomach. Why I wanted to do so was, I saw some Switches like ALCATEL-S12 can do this. You just dial digits from one set, then hung up, in 2 secconds both SETS will ring. This is they you call the other SET.
By the way THANKS YOU VERY MUCH.
