What is the requirements to connect the opt 11c to an ethernet LAN? any additional packages required? how do I convert from the nortel NTDK27 A06030723 Ethernet cabe to RJ45 UTP connection? any Idea of the PIN assignment?

A passive cable converter will not help in this case. You need a Ethernet tranceiver to convert from 15 pin AUI to RJ45. You can find one from almost all on-line sources...
