Symposium PVI Servers rel 4.2

Hi guys

I have an Option 61 with Meridian Mail 8 I think. The system has been relocated and I can’t find where the maintenance port is. I have a RS232 port, which I assumed was it but I get no response from any of the connectors! I also have a ALM/MDM is this maintenance as well as alarms? If it is maintenance then can anyone provide pin outs as the cable has been cut?

thanks Mike

On the Backpane of the 61c, Select the Active Proccessor, and then its Connector J25, its a DB25 Connector.

Hi Mike

There skould be a rs232 port marked SLT-6 P-B. Conect a null modem to it and you should be able to connect to MMAIL

Cheers

Dave
