We have had individual requests for telephone call recording in which we have used a CTI application - the Algo AuxBox - which saves the call to a wav file along with the call display information. Is there any appropriate similar applications for M1 that could be deployed on a system-wide basis?

It's health care, so there's never too much to spare! We have five pbx's.
Mostly looking for vendor/manufacturer names at this point in order to do some strategic long-term planning.

Telstrat IDVR - uses a special IPE card, or the M1 RLC card, to capture conversations to a PC server hard drive. The software has the ability to archive automatically to DVD-ROM.

Algo also has the USB Aux Box in a rack mount chassis version for up to 16 (or maybe 32) lines.

Telecom116 - pass on the web site info for the products you're speaking of. I'll add them to the NPNC..

Thanks,

Algo Communications

(The chassis version of the Aux Box doesn't appear on the web site yet; I can't remember from INNUA whether its out yet or coming out later this year).

I have both products in use in my enterprise, and have had few issues with either of them.

A company called Envision also records calls. It is a gui based application, that is run off of a win2k platform server. You can also add a RAID array for backup purposes, which is a must. It also has a desktop gui interface which allows call monitoring for like quality and legal purposes.
We used it at a financial institution I worked for, with little to no issues. TN's are built in the switch and created on the server, it is a pretty straight forward design. With that said, as mentioned above, expect to drop a little coin.

We use IDVR by Telstrat. Their cards are direct replacements for standard digital line cards and send recordings via ip to the server. Their response to any problems we have had has been very good.

We use Telestrat IDVR with our Symposium Call Center app, Any call that comes into a specific cue will be recorded. Our server has four DVD Ram drives for storage so everything is automatically burned to DVD for archiving purposes. This system works wonderfully I only have to change the disks every 6 months.
