Greetings All,
We have the new 81C fiered up this morning and want to test some ACD call flow. The problem I have is when I log into the switch there seems to be an OVL ruuning in the back ground. Teo that are always there are:
OVL400
OVL428

I cannot do any programing. It will not allow me to get into any load.

Anyone have a clue as to whats going on?

OVL400 means :
Failed log on attempts by incorrect password (PWD1 or PWD2).
Output data may be any of the following:
Where:
x = TTY x is locked out. Too many invalid passwords
x y = x failed logins on TTY y
TTYx y = TTYx was locked out y times
Severity: Critical

And OVL408 :
Too many priority Overlays. Where: xx = number of priority Overlays
which have been removed automatically.
Severity: Minor

I think your password isn't correct...

Thanks for the info. I was given passwords from the person who did all the programming. She is here today before we cut over on Friday night. She indicated to me that the TTY is locked up. You are correct. The errors I get tell me that TTY 2 is not working. The programmer said we just need to wait an hour before we can try again. I told her the first thing we do is set the lock out time down.

If you lock the PBX with the PWD1 password, normally you can use the PWD2 password to enter the PBX. If you know it, of course.
Otherwise, you have to wait...

Just a small hint in case you don't know: you have to wait exactly 60 min. to unlock the terminal.... if you try again after 58-59 min., your system will get locked for another 60 min. !!

I thought my day was going bad, but....

Just a reminder the 60 min lockout is default. It may have been programed lower or higher.

We changed the login time when we were able to finally log back in.
