Location: Vermont--Yeah it's cold. Rep Power: 6 ![]() | The Rancher's Widow Thanks for all the help(TIE Trunks) . I now have ext's getting out on the T1. My problem now is that my incoming DN (I see it on the t1) is not getting processed and sent to the TN. I am not sure why. If I TRAD the port my DN field is blank. but if I call into LCR, (prefix 9) it places the call. Any Ideas?? ps *8108 is an authcode to allow the remote into LCR Toll. Thanks, Paul

Location: Florida, Where old phonemen go to die Rep Power: 6 ![]() | home wiring - Star or not start What do you mean your DN is not getting to the TN?. Can you be a little clearer about what your problem is. Is this a DID number? [Edited on 14/1/2003 by acewarlock]

Location: Vermont--Yeah it's cold. Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Retrieving Spped call list OOPs. It is not a did trunk, it is a tie line, however the inbound calls are like did in the sense that digits are dialed on the T1 to initiate a call. The extension is dialed from the remote T1 and I see the digits (with a test set) on the T1, but the phone never rings. If I look at the inbound trunk with TRAD it shows no digits in the DN field and returns reorder busy. But if I dial 9 and then 7 digits or 11 digits the call is sent to LCR like it should and is connected and the DN field in TRAD shows the dialed number. My route data can be seen in posting "tie trunks", my guess is that it is just a setting on the route that won't allow an extention call, but I am not sure. Paul.

Location: Vermont--Yeah it's cold. Rep Power: 6 ![]() | home wiring - Star or not start my cdp tables only have entries under dsc for sending extensions out over the tie lines, there are no incoming entries. IDC is no on this route. I don't clearly understand the inbound processing steps for this. the ext dialed from the remote comes in to the T1, then ???, I know that if I prefix a 9 the call gets sent to lcr, so I was assuming that valid extension digits would route, seems that is not true!! I also need to make sure that calls on this t1 prefixed with the 9 will still go into LCR. Thanks

Location: Arizona Rep Power: 6 ![]() | home wiring - Star or not start When you saw the digits come in using the test set, how many digits were there? If you have 4 digit extensions, you'll need to receive only 4 digits on the T-1 or the switch won't process the call. Another thing to try, out of normal hours, is to send digits in on that T-1 using the test set and see what happens. Also, post one of the TRADs for an inbound call on this T-1. It sounds like the switch sees the call arrive but isn't able to make sense of the digits received.

Location: Vermont--Yeah it's cold. Rep Power: 6 ![]() | home wiring - Star or not start Response to Gei, If I monitor the T1 line I see the 3 digits I want to see being dialed (2xx), so the other switch is sending correctly (not a northern switch) In response to Jack, what should be in cdp for in inbound extention call? I attempted to put 200 in LSC and it reported an error (esn134) that the "steering code conflicts with access code or Directory number", which it would, because 200 is a DN. I currently do this on inbound DID's direct from telco, sending the exact 3 digits for the ext. What is different??
