Location: San Clemente, CA Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Here's a newbie question for you guys and gals... We are setting a special 800 number for a promotion and they would like this number to go directly to a voice mail box. How can I get this done? Opt. 11c 25.40.8

(LD 20, LUVU (list unused voice units)) Then build a set on that phantom TN. have it forward and hunt to the VM number. THEN...you'll need to contact your 800 number carrier and supply them with the DN of the phone so they are pointing that 800 number directly at that phone.

Location: Duvall, WA Rep Power: 5 ![]() | Just take whatever the incoming digits are, go to LD 23, at the req prompt enter new c/r, at ACDN enter the incoming digits c/r, at maxp enter 1 c/r, at NCFW enter the mail pilot number c/r, return through the rest of the fields. How much traffic is this going to add to your mail system? Do you need to add additional ports? Is it going to a menu? Where do the calls go from there?

Location: Lou, KY Rep Power: 9 ![]() | XMI000 revisited??? Ash: What Tim is recommending is very clean and very efficient. If your switch is ACD enabled you should use this method. It will save you time and the effort of configuring your PBX with a Phantom Loop and building your Phantom sets. Phantoms are great tools, don't get me wrong. For what you are looking for the queue will do good things. rlc

Location: South Africa Rep Power: 5 ![]() | As Pirate_Ghost pointed out, you can "view" unused DN's and TN's in LD 20. For TN's: REQ luvu TYPE 500 (or 2216 or 3905 etc) for phantom loops, use 500 as type TN (leave blank) CDEN (leave blank) ...the switch will return a list of unused TN's. If you don't get some saying "PHANTOM", then you must first configure the phantom loops. For DN's: REQ prt TYPE ludn CUST (leave blank) DN (leave blank OR use the first one or two digits, for example "21" if you want to see all the spare DN's starting with 21nn)
