Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I currently am reviewing OTM Telecom Billing records for inbound calls to our Option 81C(25.40B soon to be S3.0) for 'questionable' originating numbers. I have identified calls originating from certain numbers inbound from outside our geographical sphere of operation. They appear to be probing various extensions across different company divisions within our company. These calls are all inbound through a group of ISDN PRIs provided by the local Telco's DMS100 which we own. I was wondering if it would be possible to intercept these callers based on the inbound Caller ID information and redirect them to a secure location where trained personnel may 'deal' with them? Companywide personnel have been advised to be on the alert for 'questionable' calls and proper procedures implemented. However, I would like to exert stricter control and security over these types of calls.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Yes SCCS 4.2, and I have entertained that idea. However, I would have to process all inbound calls through the Symposium Call Center Server. Would setting CLID statements in the Master Script make the SCCS aware of all inbound calls? What impact would that have on inbound call processing? Currently, the SCCS is only processing calls presented to CDNs that are set up on the PBX for Call Center Operations.

Location: Gulf Coast Rep Power: 5 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | What DID Range (number) are we talking about? In my situation it works - I have a DID range of 7000-7999, but we have a primary published number - I route that DID to a CDN then to an Auto Attendant along with several toll free numbers. The other DID's are private or departmental numbers. If you have a large DID range - then SCCS may not be your best bet. I'm wondering if you could contact the CO and have them route to a specific DID based on CLID? Chas2002

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | RLI ENTRYs Our DID range is 610-826-9000 to 610-826-9799 which the DMS100 translates and delivers as 2000 to 2799. It sounds like I am going to talk to the telco CO and determine if they can reroute to a specific DID DN as you suggested. Thanks.
