Rep Power: 6 ![]() | I have a customer that has an option 11E and is using the latest Remote Office 9115 with an M3905 phone. The phone works fine, but the problem that the customer is having is that key 3 (top right hand side) had an L that I found out was a feature key and showed the customer how to remove the L, but when I went to program the key as an ADL 16 the display on the phone would not take the program change from the switch and the ADL 16 did not work on that key. Next I tried to program is as a SCC 16, same result. Would this be something in the class of service that needs to be changed or is it something with the Remote Office 9115 unit. The M3905 phones have no issue as stand alone ACD units, meaning that key 3 can be programmed for what it needs to be without incident. This makes me believe that the Remote Office Unit is somehow blocking the key 3 on the M3905 phone. The phones have the latest firmware downloaded to them. We did switch out the phones and the same thing occurred with each new phone. I'm bumfuzzled, but what else is new........... Thanks in advance for your help..

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | RE: I think that I may have found the answer to my question. Could this be the Local Call Key which allows the end user to add a local POTS line into the 9115 Remote office unit via an RJ jack on the back of the unit. I imagine that this would allow the end user to dial local calls via the M3905. I don't think I'm too far off base with this, but can anyone confirm this for me?

Location: Missouri Rep Power: 7 ![]() | The L indicates it is the local call key (I have a 9115 but not currently in service at this time, else I'd confirm that it accesses the local POTS circuit). If you use the software configuration manager, the 9115 can be programmed for various local key definitions. If you program one of these they will overwrite whatever you program on the switch as a key definition.
