Hey I know a lot of you are doing 3.0 upgrades and adding in the Signalling Servers. A minor bug was uncovered at one of my customer sites that was doing this.

It seems that if you use the maximum lenght (16 chars) for PWD1 or PWD2 the Sig Serv does not like it. It only likes PWD's that are 15 in length or less.

If your PWD in the PBX is 16 chars. long, as soon as it tries to sync up with the Sig Server, the PBX will INI. There has been a patch developed to correct this in the Sig Server, but it is not available yet as it is going through final verification testing.

If you are adding a Sig Server to your 3.0 switch, make sure your PWD's are 15 or less in length until this patch is available.

Also needs to be at least 6 characters long or you will have to fill in the extra spaces (1-5) with zero's example: PW=1234 new PW=001234
