We're currently running an Option 11C Rel 22.16 and are in need of some TN's as we are purchasing some DID's. I've been asked to provide the System ID and System ID For Voice Mail. How do I go about this?

Also they said I would probably have to upgrade to Succession 3. What is this? I just need a few more TN's.

Any info would be more than helpful, because this is starting to sound like a lot of $$?

Buying Additional TN's

Release 22 and below are rated as "End of Life" which means that they are no longer supported by Nortel. If you want to expand your system, you will have to upgrade to Succession 3.0 software.

While I am at it:
- Release 23 is rated as "Retired" which means that you can get technical support but would have to upgrade to Succession 3.0 for expansions.
- Release 24.xx and 25.08 are rated as "Sustained" so you can get expansions without having to upgrade. Note that these releases will move to "Retired" in October 2004.
- Release 25.xx (except 25.08 ) is rated as "Sustained" so you can get expansions without having to upgrade. It will stay as "Sustained" past October 2004. For those of you in North America who have registered for "Upgrade Express", you have until 30 September 2004 to order your upgrades and receive the applicable no charge offers on the software upgrade from release 25 to Succession 3.

In short:
- you needed to have purchased or be running X11 25 software
- you needed to have a signed minimum of 1 year maintenance agreement with a Nortel Networks Business Partner (no T&M agreements)
- your Business Partner needed to register you by last 14 November
