Location: Philadelphia Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Fax tone recognition All calls are dropped and no calls stay up? This message is usually only seen when you enable dch messaging in the system. The only way to get to the bottom of itwould be to analyze all of these messages. You turn these on by disabling the dchannel entering enl serv X ( x is the dchannel number) enl msgi X enl msgo X The reenable the dchannel. Be prepared, there will be a lot messages coming out. Then place a call out or into the span and follow the messages. IMSG is incoming from teh CO OMSG is kleaving the switch You should be able to narrow it down from there. You will need to work with the CO and report teh error message you are getting. You may need to make some calls to verify that you have the Dchannel and rdb setup correctly. Hope it helps

Location: Chicago -- CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE Rep Power: 12 ![]() | multiple ACD supervisor Start with this -- LD 96 STAT MON This will tell you which d-cahnnels have monitoring turned on (enbl). To make your life simpler I would LD 96 dis msg1 11 This will turn off the msg's on d-ch 11 then I would SET MSGI 11 MON 0 This will reset the incomming messages on d-channel 11 to message level 0 -- what you are seeing is level 1 Thewn I would ENL MSGI 11 This will restart the monitoring but in a tad more readable format By the way your orginal msg looks like a normal connect msg. rather than an error. Location: Arizona Rep Power: 7 ![]() | No internal CDRs There have been a couple of times in the past where, intermittently, calls would drop while in progress. This occurred after my PRIs went down with CGA alarms and then came back up. Disabling and enabling my D-channels corrected the problem.

Location: NORTEL - NJ Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Conferenace Phones Just for the record, the message you are reffering to is not an error. It is an incomming Facility Message, and could be anythingthing from the connected number to CPND if you are 25.40 NI2 and have it configured on the CO side. Thee is actually quite a bit behind this message, but the only way to see it is with MON level 2 or MON level 1. If you can capture this message in MON 1 mode (ENL MSGI x, then SET MSGI x MON 1) then I can decode it for you. __________________ Fletch Nortel Emergency Services PLM For more on Nortel E911 Solutions on the web: http://nortel.com/e911 Check out this month's E911 Talk podcast at Nortel E911 Talk Podcasts
