DTMF problems with BCM 3.5

There is no LD in particular to set this up , all you need to do is "shift-!" and it will take you to the > prompt. from there you type "err bugxxxx" for example and it will print out the error code. If you are already at the > prompt then you will not need to do "shift-!"

Is that an optional feature? The error lookup works fine on my 61C but not on my 11E. Both are running rls 21.

Fred, I don't know if 11E is supported but I do know it is package dependant. This is from the NTPs....

System Look up Messages
On Option 11C, 51C, 61C, or 81C systems equipped with System Errors and
Events Lookup package 245, it is possible to display system messages on
screen. Specific system messages may then be viewed on screen if the user
enters ERR followed by the desired system error code and <cr>. The
following example shows the data entries necessary to view error message:
SCH946.
• Login to switch
• PASS(Enter only your password)
• ERR SCH946<cr>(The user must type “ERR SCH946” and press
return)
The screen will now display the error message corresponding to SCH946. In
this case, that message is:
Invalid User Type

Thanks for the replies,
I have figured out that the err sch0101 does work but only at the "main menu" the "shift !" when in a load does not work. I assume "shift !" is a hot key/interrupt to get back to the main menu.
BTW, I believe this works only on release 19 or later...
