SDI paddle board locking up

I have a SDI paddle board that has locked up three times in the last month. Is there anyway to prevent the lockup? or should I look to change this board out. I currently have 4 tty's hanging of this board. OPtion 81c 25.40

Is the port that is locking up connected to a SEB or SENTINAL modem?
I know that if you just disconnect on a SENTINAL it will lock up your tty port. You must disconnect with CTRL - A. Hope this helps.

The TTY ports programmed on that card is :

TTY 0 XSM
TTY 1 PBX
TTY 8 Avotus CDR
TTY 9 Avotus Admin

Whole board or individual port locking up?

If individual port swap with another device and see if problem follows, if yes look at what device is doing if no replace board.

If whole board replace board, although I've seen simply reseating board clears alot of ills.

BE VERY CAREFUL -- when reseating the board you need to disqable all of the individual ports AND use the disable switch on the board or you will INI the switch. Even after taking the above precautions the boards will occcassionaly still cause an INI.

It seems to be just the PBX tty that is having the problem....I will try to switch around.......Any idea as to why it would lockup?

No codes when it locks up? How have you been unlocking it? Is it plugged into a modem, terminal or???

the PBX tty goes to the terminal. I have been reseating the cards and no code when it locks up

This might be a dumb question, have you verified buad rate and parity?

Not a dumb question....however I have verified those settings.
