Location: Small Town USA Rep Power: 13 ![]() | As Dix mentioned....LD 15 to change the CLID info, if that's what your using to process the Caller ID (which you probablly are) What your looking for is: LD 15 gate opener is NET, then enter to the prompt CLID, type YES....Enter the CLID ENTRY number to get to the apropriate clid you want/need to change (may have only the one) The area code would be entered at the prompt HNTN (the first prompt past the Entry) To check what CLIDs you have, or to check that you've entered the info correctly: LD 21, PRT, CLID. Rep Power: 7 ![]() | As mentioned in previous posts, adding the NPA in LD 15 at the HLCL to show the NPA and the NXX is one way to do it. If you do it this way, you must remove the HNTN information. If you do not, when making a long distance call it will send out the NPA twice. A local call sents out the HLCL and if DIDN is set to YES it will send the DN on the set. On long distance calls, it sends the HNTN, the HLCL and the DN on the set.

A way around this to fore a full 10 digit CLID on these 7 digit calls is to put a DMI in the RLI entry that sets the CTYP to E164. The Meridian will then send the full 10 digit CLID as provisioned inthe NET_DATA block. The M1 tries to be intelligent. If you dial a 7 digit number it will sned a 7 digit CLID. __________________ Fletch Avaya Emergency Services Product Manager Check out Avaya on the web at http://avaya.com Telecom Junkies 'Best of' Podcast is now available HERE at http://TelecomJunkies.com
