Location: Lou, KY Rep Power: 9 ![]() | In an Option 11C and in an Option 61C both with MerMail 13 I have built the Class of Services just like another site that is working. I built the Restriction/Permissions Lists just like the site that works. The NCOS of the Mail ports on the 61C have been changed to allow for local and toll-free calls. I can't change the NCOS on the 11C until I get answers to another post. The calls always show in the SEER as Restricted and to see the Outcalling Audit Report. The Outcalling Audit Report tells me that the call is in REORDER. The 800 numbers for these pagers are valid. The schedule built on the mail boxes is to the correct number leading with the AC for toll-free service. What could I possibly be missing? I have been researching and testing this all day and I am becoming frustrated. I am sure you all understand. Please help!!! rlc

| When you view your Channell Alocation tables in Mermail are the set to Full or Basic? , and what does it say for the outcalling Header. The channells or ports should be set to Full and the outcalling to Yes Also go into tools and Display the system records, make sure you have the Outcalling Feature set to Yes. | ||||||||

Location: Lou, KY Rep Power: 9 ![]() | "Who knew that getting some ......" In both systems types the CAT shows FULL voice and Outbound is ALL. The Feature is turned on and says YES in the TOOLs menu. All classes of service are listed in the General Options portion as well. I really thought that the issue was related to the NCOS of the voice mail ports but, I was able to reprogrammed the 61C sets and that did not have any impact. Per my other post, I still am not able to change the NCOS of the 11C ports. That darned LTN prompt just won't go away and I don't know why it is popping up.... I don't have any APL's assigned in that switch. next??? rlc

| Disregard my previous post. After looking at your question again I think all those settings are in place. My question is, does your Mailbox allow for outcalling? If it does try dialing the 800 number within your mailbox and see if the call goes through. This should prove that there are no restrictions on calling out from a mailbox. Just in case you don't know how to outdial when logged into your mailbox dial 0 + AC + number +#. | ||||||||

Location: Lou, KY Rep Power: 9 ![]() | No. That doesn't work in any of the sites that Remote Notification does work in. We don't allow folks to pass through voice mail like that. Remote Notification works in all of my 81C units and those were used as the template for the 11C and the 61C. rlc

Location: Lou, KY Rep Power: 9 ![]() | On the 61C it allowed me to change the NCOS of the voice mail ports. The 11C won't let me rebuild the ports without an LTN.... which I don't need. The CLS of both systems is CTD. Test calls still show RESTRICTED as though there is something in the permissions/restrictions list that isn't right. These lists are identical to my 81C systems that are functioning. Is there some correlation with the Perm/Rest lists and the Dialing Translations???? rlc

| The Avatar Picture that Rixride did NOT want you to see! Yes, your restrictions/permissions must allow your numbers to be dialed. Go into the CLS of the mailbox you are testing and see what the Res/Perm is set up for the Remote notification prompt. Now go to the RES/PERM and see what digits you are RES. I would set up a NEW RES/PERM number and allow everything. I would then set up your test mailbox with a personnel CLS and assign the new RES/Perm number to this under the Remote notification RES/PERM. | ||||||||
