RE:

I am just starting to get involved with key systems. Can anyone give me an overview of how they work? I get lost when you take an analog line from the d-mark and route it through the system. Is there a place I can get actual drawings of how the input and output work on these things? Anyone.....
Thanks in advance

One - With any luck -I'll be posting a .swf file tomorrow that explains M1 Analog programming with additional files to follow. When you get a chance reivew the PBX Insight link and check out Analog 101....

This file covers programming, not cross-connecting (that's a future issue)..

PM me with your thoughts on the subject matter.

Should be done with the upload around 10:00am CST...

I am seeing the Meridian systems more than any other, do not have a model number. But just the basics is what I am looking for, an understanding of how they work in regards to input output. The one system I deal the most with are the ones that support small businesses with 5 to 15 phones. The main thing that I need more of an understanding of is how to add additional phone locations to the system, is there a certian way the lines need to be punched down?
