If you don't know where it is then likely hood of hitting it by accident is exteremly low. I can't think of any combination of key strokes that you would use in day to day programming that would get you close to PDT.

Forgot what ETAS stands for... pretty much high level tech support for Nortel.

They call themselves GNTS, GNPS of GCCS these days. All depends on what day of the week, and what Director is running the group.

GNTS – Global Network Technical Support
GNPS – Global Network Product Support
GCCS – Global Customer Care Services

Most of us still refer to it as ETAS because thats what most people know it as. That and it’s easier than trying to keep up with the changes.

Can I nominate this post as "most entertaining post of the year"? 5 pages of FORGET YOU EVER HEARD THE WORD PDT - and people still want to know..

And I also nominate Fletch as "PBX Dark Lord" - with his unlimited knowledge of the book of Nortel... and that distinct and clear cut posting - brutal and swift - I'm sure he has crossed over!!!! May he have mercy on us..

it always kills me that with how much damage you can do to a switch with the pdt that they make it so easy to reset the pdt password. I was shown how to do that and i can't even do nars and bars.
