Location: Massachusetts Rep Power: 0 ![]() | SCCS WebClient I can't figure out how to have inbound calls received by the console (M2250) to be transfered to individuals voicemail accounts without ringing the desktop phones 4 times. Not sure if this is possible. I have a 61C which is using an Octel 250. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! Tom

Dial Ext. 72600 3. If the system answers with your name, press the star key twice or If the system answers with the system greeting, press the star key once. 4. Enter the mailbox number to transfer to. 5. Press the RELEASE key or hang up. Post back with any questions. Jack

| Stopping a Midnight Routine I have an Octel here also .What you can do is set up an acdn in ld 23 with your voicemail extension as ncfw number Have the attendant transfer the call to the new acdn that you have created.Since there is no mailbox associated with this extension she will hear what I refer to as the backdoor prompt for octel.(Welcome to octel voice information processing please dial the number of the person you arecalling) have her enter the persons mailbox number then hit release walla!! she has transfered a call to a mailbox | ||||||||

Location: Massachusetts Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Thank You both for your help. I had an acdn that is ncfw to the mail pilot number in place already. What happens is when you transfer to that dummy acdn the call routes to the main day greeting ( Type 32 ) mailbox. From there the options are to dial by extension or dial by name. If you proceed with the dial by extension option, the call proceeds by going back to the Meridan PBX and dials the phone. The same happens with the dial by name search feature. I was trying to get directly into the respective voicemail account, without having the deskset ring. Any other ideas are appreciated. Thanks again Tom

If you are the one to admin the v-mail, you can initially set up the NCFW to go to a TYPE 33 mailbox(Callers menu + mailbox) from there you can set choice 1 as a TYPE 32 (callers menu + ext) and choice 2 a TYPE 33 (callers menu + mailbox) that way the attendant has a choice to ring the phone or send it straight to the mailbox. Only thing though if this is for a lot of users then this is going to be one huge tree

I have 7113 which is my FDN/CFNA to the called numbers' mailbox and I have 3113 which is the Admin (Backdoor) for VoiceMail. When a caller reaches an attendant and wants voicemail - The attendant dials 3113 ** + the mailbox number...This drops the caller into the mailbox..

Location: Massachusetts Rep Power: 0 ![]() | What I ended up doing was creating a dummy extension which is ncfw to a Type 33 mailbox. The type 33 mailbox is just a call routing menu and stays within the Octel. The receptionists just enters the 4 digit extension of the person that the caller wants to reach and the receptionist releases the call. Thank You to all of you that helped with this problem. It's always good to have a second set of eyes looking at a problem and creating a solution. Tom
