If you PM me I can send you the full five page artical  Bulletin P-2004-0022-NA CallPilot Page 1 of 5 Product Bulletin Bulletin Number: P-2004-0022-NA Issue: 1.0 Date: 28 January 2004 CallPilot SMDI Modem Replacement Introduction The General Datacomm 28.8K Standalone SMDI modem (A0620530) used on the CallPilot 1002rp Rackmount platform for SL-100 SMDI connection has been discontinued and replaced by the Telenetics V.3600 33.6K Standalone SMDI modem kit (NTRH909 . Effective January 19,2004, all new CallPilot SMDI Modem kit shipments include the new Telenetics V.3600 33.6K Standalone SMDI modem. Reason for Replacement The change is due to component obsolescence. The current General Datacomm 28.8K Standalone SMDI modem (A0620530) is no longer available from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). CallPilot Ordering Packages Affected The merchandize (new order, field replacement and sparing) ordering codes affected are as follows: Current Modem CPC Description A0620530 Modem for SMDI link in T1 Application Replacement Modem Kit CPC Description NTRH9098 CallPilot SMDI Modem Kit (includes qty-1 each of the following): A0761368 Telenetics V.3600 33.6K Standalone modem P01007129 CallPilot SMDI Modem Setup Document The new Telenetics V.3600 33.6K Standalone modem is fully compatible with the current General Datacomm 28.8K Standalone SMDI modem. Reference and Related Documents Reference NTP 555-7101-224 CallPilot Installation and Configuration Part 3 T1/SMDI and CallPilot Server Configuration, Chapter 2 “Connecting the CallPilot server to the T1/SMDI Switch” for modem installation information. For detailed Telenetics modem setup information, refer to Appendix-A. This information is also provided within document P01007129 CallPilot SMDI Modem Setup Procedure document that is provided with each modem shipped. | ||||||||
