Carrier Remote time slot issue

I have just been given the task of adding specific area codes, and then allowing use only with Authorizatin, of which is not in place yet. Is this an add on feature, or will my Option 61 release 23.xx allow this. And how in the world would I do this. I am as rusty as a tin roof in Option, let alone creating something like this.

Example. Add 876 for Jamaica, and then only allow calling with a 5 digit code.

Am I in over my head? Got to have it done by tonight

Basically I want to add a group of area codes, and restrict who and who can't use them. Originally I was told to set up a pass code, but realized this is not an option. I talking with Jack, he is suggesting creating a new RLI group. This is where things are going to get hairy for a newbie.

I think a new rli would be the way to go. I don't see why you couldn't use an authcode to access the rli.

IF that is what you want to do
Look at ld 87 print your nctl so you can see your ncos to frl relationship
build your new RLI in ld 86 make the frl number higher than what Ncos that people use now who can call long distance
In ld 90 point the Npa or Npa's you want to restrict to the new Route list.
Change the Ncos on the sets you want to allow this to the higher frl number you created .

NAM compatability with MICS

Nortellian is right also .You wouldn't have to reprogram the sets but you would have to create an authorization code in ld 88
When you build your New RLI in ld 86 set your mfrl level to confiqure your autocode prompting

unfortunatley, know that my supervisor understands how the switch works, I just need to block five area codes in my switch, whether they are permanetely removed, or I change their FRL higher than everyones CNOS.

I tried to do a PRT in LD 87 for NCTL, and was prompted for NRNG (?). Boy, do I feel like a newbie...

that promp is for a Ncos range you could put 0 (space) and another number or to get all put 0(space)99
you proabably only use 3 or 4 of them.
in most cases
ncos 0 =frl 0
ncos 1 =frl 1
ncos 2 =frl 2
ncos 3=frl 3

etc,etc
