Recently we have some small issues with our SCCS. We are trying to identify the cause of the problems going throught the event viewer.

I rembember there was a NTP describing all the error and return codes
but with SCCS 4.02 I dont see any document or appendix explaining that.

Where could I find a document that would help me reading all the errors we are seeing in the Symposium.

Thanks

Rc? IVR Resource?? Rc might mean "Return Code"=

Is this an NT Event error or an SCCS software error?

THE HDM is the Historical Database Manager and the return code 40-243 indicates that the Pipe or file name was incorrect....

The way I read this is that: The HDM Service terminated because it couldn't find a file or path.....

Could this be a Client(s) request???

Not sure ---

I recall that "pipe" referrs to incoming request from Clients to the Symposium Server...So - somewhere a client is requesting Historical data that the server doesn't have..

Depending on your Config settings - this could be request info from 2003 that the server has deleted or it could be a number of things really...

Check with the client's and find out if someone has had their Symposium "Freeze" or completly drop lately???

RE:

Yes sometimes we have Client that freeze or hang... but nothing specific and at the same time of the error.

What we will do for now is remove the report access class from
all the supervisors and monitor the system in case we see something else.
