Hi everyone, looks like there is some great information here!

I've got an Option 11C, trying to make an international call (trying to send a fax actually).

To make an international call, you have to put in the International Access code 011...at first, I couldn't get past the "0". I dialed 9 to get out, 1, then 0---> got a fast busy

Then I called my PBX pros, he dialed in and programmed some stuff. Now I can dial the entire number. The call goes for a few seconds, THEN I get a fast busy. Now my phone pro is off for the day, and we need to get this fax to Germany. Any help is appreciated. I can program the thing, but I don't know what I'm doing really Thanks in adavance!

Can you TRAC the call in LD 80...

We have problems with International calls at times - but's it's usually a wrong number or an an improper dial....

What kind of trunks are you using?

You should NOT have to dial 9 1 011, but rather 9 011.

If pri digital trunks what is your DSEL value?

Haven't tried a TRAC yet...don't know how, but I just saw a post on here about that, so I'll try....

My receptionist called and said she knows an access code that allows her to call this number from her set. I guess I need to figure out how to allow this access code to be dial from the fax (and from my set too).

The number has been verified, and I've dial it myself a few times...I'm getting closer..........

To use the ACOD you'll most likely need to chg the TGAR to 0 on the Fax line....

To TRAC

If your number is 5566

Ld 80
.Trac 0 5566 (Don't hit return just yet)

From your maintenance set, dial the 9 011-xxxxxxxxxx number

While the call is going out (press return the the Trac command)

As to the dial plan, hmmmmm... Why set it up that way?

In any event, 2 ways you can print the route data block -- look for the DSEL prompt -- or stat the span -- the dsel value will be shown after the b-channel status.

Post back with any questions and welcome to the board.

Ok...mega-Newb here...

If I do a TRAC on it, I get (I added the "x's" in):

ACTIVE TN 011 0 00 12
ORIG 011 0 00 12 0 MCR MARP 0 2223 2616
TERM NONE
TDTN 0 SLOT 7 PTY SLOT 7
DIAL DN 91011xxxxxxxxxx
MAIN_PM REOR
TALKSLOT NONE
EES_DATA:
NONE
QUEU DIAL
CALL ID 0 56

jack, I'm trying to find that DSEL prompt...paper docs aren't helping, and i'm not sure where to do the STAT.

As for the dial plan setup...hm, dunno. I didn't set it up!

TGAR is 1 on the fax and on my maintenance set, which is the set the TRAC info above came from. I take it I may need to set TGAR to 0 for ACOD to work? Is there a way to change TGAR without reprogramming the set?

And thanks for the welcome :P

- The "none" indicates that you're not accessing a Route and Member - Thus this call isn't even leaving your switch.. and you're getting Reorder Tone...

Yes you would need to change the TGAR to use your ACOD..

LD 20
REQ: Chg
TYPE: 2616
TN: 11 0 0 12
ECHG: Yes
ITEM: TGAR 0

We all had to start somewhere.

The trac is showing that you are recieving wave off / re-order, so on that call you never got out of the switch.

Do a STAT in LD 60 for the loop in question, if you don't know do 'em all.

You will -- at least you should -- have to change the TGAR to 0 to use THE ACOD, although if call goes thru by just using ACOD something is not programmed correctly on either you set or in you NARS/BARS. You will need to make a program change to the set/fax to get this to work.
