Location: Lou, KY Rep Power: 9 ![]() | Did you check your NCOS level for the fax machine? Maybe your Class of Service isn't set high enough? Compare the programming of the receptionist phone that can complete the call with the programming of the fax machine. Other than the differences of a digital vs. analog you might find something there. As far as how your phone guru set up your dialing plan, you might want to see if they will just set up a DMI to clean it up a bit and make it easier to use. BARS programming is very detailed and can be confusing. Make sure you have some time to really devote to thinking about what you want. rlc

| Ok Ok...changed TGAR to 0 and did a TRAC on my maintenance set's extension: ACTIVE TN 011 0 00 12 ORIG 011 0 00 12 0 MCR MARP 0 2223 2616 TERM NONE DIAL DN 910114995135291 MAIN_PM DIAL AUX_PM NARS_CALL TALKSLOT NONE EES_DATA: NONE QUEU NONE CALL ID 0 9 As you can see, I still have NONE after TERM, but no reorder tone now. After dialing the ACOD, I get dial tone now, but after dialing the phone number I need, still get fast busy. NCOS is 6 on the fax on on my maintenance set. Is that high enough? If I dial (from maintenance set) ACOD ---> dial tone ---> 011...fast busy ACOD ---> dial tone ---> 1, 011...fast busy ACOD ---> dial tone ---> 9 ---> dial tone ---> 1, 011 or just 011... still getting fast busy. | ||||||||

Location: Lou, KY Rep Power: 9 ![]() | What is the NCOS of the set that can complete the call? Set the fax to this. Then try sending your fax again. In order to verify NCOS you would need to look at your RLI's and see how everyone flows... each RLI and each entry within the RLI. Then you would need to look at how your NCOS levels translate to your FRLs. This is where BARS gets messy. rlc
