Location: Massachusetts Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Reply.. Hi All, I am trying to configure a CDR port by using one of my avail TTY ports located on a 4 port paddle board. My switch is a Nortel Opt 61c running release 25.40. I've changed the adan data to user CTY and in the routes that I want to track, I've changed the rdb CDR to yes. Can anyone shed some more light as to what else I may be missing. I connected an VT520 terminal to the tty port to check for communications and I am receiving some data but not what I was expecting. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! Tom

LD 21 to print, type CDR LD 15 to change item is PORT. I forget when but at some point changes to the CDR in either the RDB or the CDB will require an INI (I think) in order to take effect. You will get an SCH code indicating this when it happens. Everything else sounds ok, what data are you getting and what do you expect to get? There are some other prompts below the CDR prompt in the RDB and CDB that will effect how and when it comes out. -T

Location: Far away Rep Power: 0 ![]() | setting up CDR When the Meridian receives CDR data from either the Trunks or Telephones, it needs to know where to send it.
