Re: VoIP, VPN

HI I need to rest the time on our OPT 11 ( I have been hunting around the forms for how to do it and the closest I could get was a script to resolve time slipping. Way beyond me!!!
(I’m not even sure it has slipped any I think when it was setup it was wrong ) anyways I saw something about doing it from LD2 and I couldn't get figure out the correct commands like I can with LD 20 and LD 10 because my ? Doesn’t work to see my options. (I can do ld 2 it says TSC000 and when I try my? it says TSC002 So I'm obviously missing what this referees to and I need to find some where that explains what I'm suppose to do to rest the system clock. )

I also have MAT 6.6 and manuals but I can't find a reference to the system clock so I'm not sure it can be done with MAT. (If you can't tell by now I'm clueless but hey I have muddle thru a lot so far and have managed to keep the thing running and do my ADDS and DELETES with out a manual or any training (so yes I'm dangerous)

Dark -

Are you saying you're getting the error (TFC002) when you enter LD 2? - (TFC000) is normal...

At any rate to set the Date and Time (Example 10 Jan 04 3:25pm)

Ld 2
.STAD 10 01 2004 15 25 00

[10 01 2004] is the date
and [15 25 00] is HH MM SS

You may not have the password level to set the time. On my system you have to use the level 2 password and I _think_ TSC002 is the error you get when you have enough login rights to enter LD 2 but not change the time.

OTM Installation

You both kick A$$ :P thanks, That fixed me up and yes I was logging on as level 1 but with out the syntax I was all lost. Yes the TSC002 was coming up when I was on logged on as level 1. I have not had to use level 2 to do much so far. Thanks telecom116 for the security tip and Thanks Chas for the syntax. I know it may seem like something simple to you but for some one who is clueless like me just changing the time is great!!!

Now if in a couple of weeks if it's off I'll go look up that script to tweak the clock to keep better time. (Hopefully I don't have to...) 7 minutes in three years is a little more than a second a day I think I might just update it every couple of months now that I know how to.

AGAIN THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you're using an LAPW (limited access password) your password will have to be set to CUST ALL in order to change the time in LD2.

Just info so everyone doesn't have to learn the hard way.
