Those cables are propritary. you need to order them for nortel or your vendor. I actually tried making them with no luck.

Interesting.

The pinouts are in the manual and I've been thinking about making some but haven't gotten around to trying it. Now I'll have to find someone else to try making them since there is the posibility of failure.

Check out Appendix C of NTP 553-3001-021.

I see the pin outs of the 67DA cable but not the 66AA Cable

I have since ordered and installed the cable but have the same problem. Maybe someone has incountered this problem.
When connecting to the Host SDI port. I am connected to the switch and can login, Howerver, everything that ccmes back from the switch shows up as ???????????????????. I have set up the terminal per the book. I have installed these before and had no problem. The only thing I know that could possibly be left is the fact that I have multiple remotes and do not have them tied together and possibly the previous installed local carriers are set with the same addressing although it appears this is only applicable to daisy chaining together.

I have tried oth settings 1200 and 2400. The switch settings also control the MMI terminal CRI connection. This works great. I only get the ????? when I go to the host. I have tried both baud rates on the SDI same thing. I have connected to the remote side and to e different local remotes on the local side and get the same thing. I have connected this SDI port to a workng Fiber IPE MMI and it works. I am going to set up the daisy chain settings on the other remotes to see if this makes any difference. If this donen't work I am out of ideas.
