Nortel Jobs

Is there any means to administer remotely (I mean assign a telephone extension, parameter it for example) the Nortel PBX through an internet standard protocol such as HTTP/SOAP or LDAP ?

Using OTM synchronized with an LDAP directory, who is the master of the information ? OTM or the LDAP directory ? The underlying question is: if I update the LDAP directory and set a telephone extension to a new user, will this be register in the PBX through OTM ?

Thanks !!

Remote Administration of PBX through internet protocols

It can be done and I have seen it done, but I hate using OTM. It is terrible. I use it only if I need to look someone up by name. My OTM has a haibt of deleting sets for no reason. The vendor cant even figure this one out. I have also has other techs make name changes to a acd phone and it deletes the acd phone. If you are not familiar with line command it's okay, but line command is always the best way to go. I do believe the switch holds the information and it is polled every night for changes.
