After system is cleaned, you may want to consider where the dust is coming from in the first place.

The 11's don't have a boat load of environmental concerns but still require some TLC.

I have a customer who decided one day to make their phone room into a data room by knocking out the wall next to the 61C and didn't bother to tell anyone in the teleservices department. 4 hours later we get a call about the phones acting funny an hour after that we get a call that they aren't working at all.

10 hours of overtime , 2 processors , complete software/database reload and a big healthy 5 figure bill to the contractor later they had dial tone again.

Something to think about when it comes to PBXs and dust.

yeh, the dust is built up is from construction in the same room, and a concrete floor. i suggested we vac out the cards one shelf at a time then seal the concrete floor to keep the dust down. what do ya think?

I'd agree, but remember...y're looking at some down time...not like you can (or should) bring down only PART of the system to clean it...
