Are these basically what positions for phones and what related DN's are added or is there a lot more to it than that

Branch office dial plans

Depends on what you are trying to achieve and the topology of your PBX network.

Post back with more specifics and we can go from there.

Reply..

basically i think its a setup between two Meridian using I2004 phones which are setup through Remote office by the sounds of it

so these are gonna be setup on a PC with callpilot and such instead of directly through the terminal

Depending on what you are trying to achieve you may want to investigate the Virtual Office feature allowing users to keep same number regardless of where they log into PBX's on network.

Again, not sure what you are trying to achieve but the ITG portion of 12004 will require OTM (aka a pc application) but the individual sets are still capable of being set up the same as any other pbx phones.

Post back with more specifics and we'll go from there.

I'd not phrase it as setting up duplicate dn's, there are several ways to achieve site a being able to call site b really depends on your equipment and software level. Most common is CDP (Coordinated Dial Plan) with or without Vacant number routing.

Succession 3.0 changes the playing field by the use of signaling and gatekeeper servers.

Again all depends on what you are trying to achieve.

Yes, the individual sets are built in LD 20.

Quality and assurance monitoring.

AHA!!!!

Never mentioned that you were using Succession

This actually makes things easier, you only need program the main and it -- well that's what is supposed to happen -- propagates the remotes.

Let us know how this works out for ya.
